As part of Lexington’s 250th anniversary (Lex250) celebrations, the New Legacy Cultural Center (NLCC) proudly participated in the 2025 Patriots’ Day Parade, showcasing the theme “Connecting Cultures, Creating Community.”
The NLCC float featured vibrant cultural elements highlighting Lexington’s growing diversity, including traditional Chinese costumes, lion and dragon dances, and student performers representing the younger generation’s creativity and community pride. Supported by dozens of volunteers, students, and families, NLCC’s entry symbolized harmony between Lexington’s rich revolutionary heritage and its modern multicultural identity.
Through music, dance, and color, NLCC celebrated the shared spirit of unity and cultural connection that defines today’s Lexington—honoring the past while inspiring a more inclusive and connected future.
