NLCC/LCE Afterschool Classes
The NLCC/LCE Afterschool classes launched in Fall 2023, offering 6 classes across Bowman, Hastings, and Harrington elementary schools. The program ran three days a week, providing two levels of Mandarin instruction to 60 students, with a total enrollment of 125 students for the full school year.

In 2024, the program has expanded to four schools—Bowman, Hastings, Estabrook, and Harrington—offering classes five days a week and introducing four levels of Mandarin courses to better meet the needs of our growing community.
In 2025, the program has expanded to all six schools—Bowman, Hastings, Estabrook, Harrington, Bridge and Fiske —offering classes five days a week and introducing immersion Mandarin programs to facility more students into the program.
