NLCC Welcomes Families at Fall 2026 Open House
On Saturday, September 12, 2026, New Legacy Cultural Center (NLCC) welcomed families to its Fall Open House at Lexington High School, offering an opportunity to learn more about NLCC’s Mandarin programs and experience classes firsthand.
Throughout the morning, new and returning families met with teachers and staff, explored the different Mandarin curriculum tracks, reviewed learning materials, and asked questions about class placement and the upcoming school year.
Students also participated in free trial classes, where they experienced Mandarin learning through interactive classroom activities, conversation, games, and age-appropriate instruction. The Open House welcomed students with a wide range of Mandarin backgrounds, from children encountering the language for the first time to returning learners continuing to build their skills.
The event also gave families, teachers, and staff a chance to reconnect and welcome new members into the NLCC community as the Fall 2026 semester got underway.
NLCC thanks our teachers, staff, volunteers, participating families, and our partner, Lexington Community Education, for helping make the Open House a welcoming and engaging start to the new school year.
